This paper is an investigation into the high inrush current effect that emerges during energizing of drivers different circuit types loaded by light-emitting-diode (LED) strips. Two driver were analyzed—a voltage stabilization (VS) utilizing a Zener diode, and (CS) type in form integrated (IC). Inrush waveforms calculated for various numbers LEDs. In frame study, analysis executed energized diverse input RMS values at switching-on phases was performed. The comprised experimental verification LT SPICE simulation results calculations peak appearing while switching on supply voltage. developed models needs elaborated concerning precise reflection real obtained oscilloscopic registration process. assumed model parameters mainly attuned view steady-state simulations, implemented method high-frequency (HF) transient modeling allowed waveform reflection.
